Susan Lewallen writes fiction because she loves to read fiction.  Twenty years of living and working in different countries of Africa has provided plenty to write about. 

 

She is retired from a career in ophthalmology and she and her husband now live in San Diego, where she writes,  dances,  enjoys the sun, makes stuff, and putters in her garden.
